Hayden Adams: 100 million UNI to be burned after overwhelming vote
Hayden Adams announced the conclusion of a vote on the Unification project, where an overwhelming majority approved burning 100 million UNI tokens. The result was 125,342,017 votes in favor and 742 against.
After a two-day vote timelock, the implementation will commence, including the burning of the UNI tokens, activation of fee switches, and Uniswap Labs focusing on protocol aspects by turning off frontend fees.
