Centralized exchanges may vanish as blockchain tech advances, Alex Svanevik predicts
CEXs may disappear by 2030

Alex Svanevik argues that centralized exchanges (CEXs) may become obsolete by 2030 as blockchain technology becomes faster and easier to use.

In his view, advances in blockchain speed and usability, particularly through new agents, will remove the advantage previously held by CEXs. Svanevik suggests that this shift represents a significant turning point in the crypto infrastructure landscape.

Svanevik previously attributed a surge in Nansen’s SOL staking from 60,000 to 2,500,000 units to a partnership with StakeWithUs. He has also described the Nansen CLI as essential for Claw users, recommending installation via npm for optimal utility. These recent initiatives reflect his focus on blockchain tools and infrastructure.
