Lisa Abramowicz: U.S. crude exports reach new record high
U.S. crude exports hit record high

Lisa Abramowicz, Journalist, Co-host on Bloomberg TV/Radio at Bloomberg, reports that U.S. exports of crude and petroleum products surged to a record level last week, reaching nearly 12.9 million barrels per day according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

She highlights that the U.S. almost flipped to being a net exporter of crude for the first time since weekly government data began in 2001.

Abramowicz has previously tracked major shifts in energy markets, noting that Brent crude climbed 58% in its largest monthly gain on record. In a separate report, she observed that banks have tripled lending to private equity and credit since 2018, surpassing $300 billion. These reports form part of her ongoing coverage of significant changes in commodities and financing activity.
