Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, reports that the Corgi Growth & Tech Buffer ETF (QQMY) achieved $5 million in trading volume on its first day.
According to Balchunas, the fund is part of a growing wave of low-cost buffer ETFs, with Corgi charging 30 basis points, Aptus 25 basis points, and Innovator & FT at 80–90 basis points.
Balchunas has previously challenged the relevance of traditional market strategies, noting that S&P 500 ETF performance may render the Sell in May adage outdated. He has also analyzed the surge in memory stock ETFs connected to AI trends. These observations follow his ongoing coverage of evolving ETF products and market responses.
