Jayendra Jog: Agents not trusted with meaningful funds for several months
Agents seen risky for major funds

Jayendra Jog, co-founder and CEO at Sei Labs, cautions that agents are unlikely to be entrusted with meaningful amounts of money in the coming months due to a high risk profile.

Jog points out that the "blast surface," or the potential exposure to risk, is currently too high for broader financial trust in such agents.

Jog has previously warned that composability in defi can increase systemic risk, potentially limiting mainstream adoption, according to a past statement. He also supported Arbitrum’s decision to follow Ethereum’s example after the DAO hack, characterizing the approach as prudent in addressing security concerns in decentralized networks, as noted in a separate commentary. These positions highlight his ongoing focus on risk management in emerging crypto systems.
