JPMorgan $1M offer called lowball and rejected, Mario Nawfal notes
JPMorgan settlement offer rejected in dispute

Mario Nawfal, founder & CEO at IBC Group, reports that JPMorgan attempted to resolve sexual assault and racial harassment claims with a $1 million settlement offer, which the banker declined, choosing to pursue legal action instead.

Following the rejection, JPMorgan characterized the allegations as "baseless" and described its offer as a lowball.

Nawfal has previously reported on compliance issues in financial operations. He covered a case where a former LA County deputy was sentenced to 63 months for assisting a scammer in staged crypto-related arrests in a separate investigation. Nawfal has also noted Petrobras's decision to raise jet fuel prices by 18% for May following a substantial increase in April and the company's move to permit installment payments.
