Tony Katz, crypto commentator at Social Media, reports that after months of official negotiations with the MEXC exchange, no settlement has been reached regarding a dispute amounting to $33,682,000.
According to Tony Katz, the MEXC exchange undertook rebranding actions and appointed a new CEO, but then ceased further communications on resolving the issue.
Katz has previously commented on the role of digital assets in global trade. He argued that Iran, Russia, and China prefer to use Bitcoin for cross-border transfers rather than USDT or USD. He also suggested that Iran should peg its currency to Bitcoin for trade and settlements with Russia and China.
