Blockworks achieved protocol standard success in 2023, Jamie Coutts notes
Jamie Coutts reflects on efforts to launch a similar protocol standard initiative at Bloomberg Intelligence in 2023, which did not advance past initial stages.
Coutts expresses deep respect for the Blockworks team for successfully bringing a protocol standard project to completion and also acknowledges the DeriveXYZ team for their continued commitment.
Earlier this year, Jamie Coutts reported that 79 percent of the top 200 crypto assets reached one-year lows, exceeding levels seen in June 2022, according to a breadth indicator analysis. Coutts also observed his Derivatives Risk Score at a state of extreme pessimism as Bitcoin funding rates dropped to a rare low percentile not seen since 2020, as noted in a separate review. These data points reflect continued close monitoring of market indicators.
