Sandeep Nailwal: BFI Impact fellows begin fieldwork with grants and development support
BFI Impact fellows start with support

Sandeep Nailwal, CEO at Polygon Foundation, announced that the first cohort of the BFI Impact fellowship has officially started fieldwork, equipped with grants and full support from the BFI stack.

Nailwal emphasized the importance of enabling fellows to focus on building their ideas, with resources dedicated to prototyping infrastructure and establishing a clear regulatory pathway.

Nailwal has previously highlighted technical progress at Polygon, including major reductions in blocktimes and latency that increased the network’s bandwidth. On the payments side, he noted that Modern Treasury integrated Polygon with its U.S. fintech API stack, enabling stablecoin access across additional payment rails. These developments illustrate ongoing efforts to strengthen infrastructure and real-world applications for Polygon.
