Cardano Summit 2026 blocked by new voting rules, Jordan Kerridge reveals
Cardano Summit 2026 cancelled by vote

Jordan Kerridge reports that the Cardano Summit 2026 has been officially cancelled following a community vote. Although a majority of voters supported the event, the proposal did not achieve the required two-thirds approval to proceed.

This outcome marks the first use of Cardano's new rules, allowing the community to prevent the event from utilizing official resources.

Kerridge has previously highlighted other key developments in the digital asset sector. In an earlier report, he noted that Dropee Create launched on Telegram with 13 million users and a $40 million fully diluted valuation. He also covered the EU’s planned crypto and gambling tax aimed at raising €20 billion from 2028 to 2034.
