Jim Cramer, host of Mad Money at CNBC, questions whether Nvidia may be poised for a rally similar to the gains experienced by the more expensive SanDisk, now that the Hynix deal has concluded.
Cramer notes that the removal of this overhang could potentially benefit Nvidia, as investors may no longer need to sell one semiconductor stock to purchase another.
Cramer previously questioned whether Nvidia’s bond sale could be a sign of plans for stock buybacks, referencing a similar move by Apple in the past here. He has also expressed concerns about the market’s ability to fund an SK Hynix deal at what he said were reasonable prices here. Both issues have drawn attention as investors assess shifting dynamics in the semiconductor sector.
