Shay Boloor: META expands Louisiana data center investment to over $50 billion — META expands Louisiana data center plan

Shay Boloor reports that META is expanding its Louisiana data center to reach 5 gigawatts, raising its disclosed investment from $10 billion to more than $50 billion.

The total project could surpass $250 billion when including chips and related expenditures, along with over $1 billion in local infrastructure upgrades and the creation of more than 1,000 permanent jobs.
