Intel and Moore's Law early growth

Jon Erlichman, anchor and financial journalist at Bloomberg TV, notes that Intel was founded on this day in 1968.

He adds that three years earlier, co-founder Gordon Moore predicted the next decade for the chip industry, a forecast now known as Moore's Law. In Intel’s first decade, revenue grew nearly 15,000 percent.

Erlichman has highlighted other milestones in corporate growth. He previously noted that Walmart posted $975,000 in revenue in 1962, a figure the company now earns in just 43 seconds. In another report, he described how Samsung grew from exporting food to producing $1 billion in profit every 1.5 days.
