Anthropic funding shapes Dario’s position

Chamath Palihapitiya, founder and CEO of Social Capital, commented on the funding dynamics at Anthropic. He suggested that recent approaches to funding, public claims, and post-money valuations have played a larger role in shaping Dario’s position on company matters than other factors.

Palihapitiya has previously questioned why SALP was unable to find buyers for its Anthropic stake. He has also discussed the potential for long-term wealth accumulation, noting that investing $5,000 per year could potentially grow to $13 million by age 55. His recent comments on Anthropic's funding approach follow these earlier observations.
