Samson Mow: Blockstream Jade adds Miniscript, 2FA, and LN to Liquid swaps
Blockstream Jade adds Miniscript, 2FA, LN swaps

Samson Mow, chief executive officer at JAN3, highlights several advanced features of Blockstream Jade in a recent update.

According to Mow, Blockstream Jade supports Miniscript, enables storage and generation of 2FA codes, and allows Lightning Network payments to be directed to cold storage through swaps to Liquid. Additionally, the device offers BIP85 deterministic generation of multiple child seeds.

Earlier this year, Samson Mow advised users of compromised COLDCARD hardware wallets to migrate their funds, suggesting temporary alternatives due to ongoing attacks, according to a previous update. More recently, he reported that AquaBitcoin is working to restore Liquid and Lightning swaps, with user funds on the platform remaining secure, as noted in a separate statement. These developments highlight Mow's ongoing involvement with hardware wallet security and Bitcoin infrastructure projects.
