Bitcoiners shift wealth via OP_Returns

Tone Vays, bitcoin analyst, derivatives trader & event producer, commented on efforts by proponents of the Knots project to remove large OP_Returns from Bitcoin.

He stated that these attempts are effectively causing Bitcoin users to transfer their wealth using large OP_Return transactions as a means of preserving it.

Vays previously highlighted the need for Trezor to add Bip39 support for easier custom seed creation, aligning it with Blockstream Jade's capabilities, in a recent article. He has also criticized proposals to replace the Bip110 group, pointing to skepticism within the industry, as reported in an earlier piece. These comments reflect his ongoing engagement in technical debates within the Bitcoin community.
