FtUSD holds 10 percent yield three months

Andre Cronje, founder of Flying Tulip and former Chief Technology Officer and board member of Sonic Labs, highlights that ftUSD has delivered a stable 10 percent yield for three consecutive months on $5 million.

Cronje describes ftUSD as fully liquid against USDC and USDT, noting users can borrow for 1.09 percent from margin lending to earn the yield spread. Using BTC as collateral reportedly earns a 0.72 percent return.

In a previous report, Andre Cronje noted that FT Lend assets surpassed $15 million, with ftUSD balances nearing $5 million and platform fees increasing steadily. He also reported daily buybacks above $1,000, reflecting ongoing user activity on FT Lend. Earlier, Cronje cited $15 million in liquidity for margin lending on both Ethereum and Sonic, with strong projected yield and on-chain access as key features of the product lineup described in his recent update.
