Tether AI outperforms larger competitors in local model deployment, Paolo Ardoino notes
Tether AI rolls out local language models

Paolo Ardoino, chief executive officer (CEO) at Tether (USDT), announced the release of Tether AI's QVAC TranslatePsy-AfriSLM.

According to Ardoino, the newly launched models surpass much larger flagship models and come in two versions: 800M and 2B tokens. The solutions are designed to run entirely on local devices, offering improved accessibility and flexibility. Ardoino praised the Tether team for their achievements.

Ardoino previously commented that stablecoins like Tether are fully backed by liquid assets, contrasting them with tokenized bank deposits in an earlier statement on asset backing. He has also described the timing of introducing Tether Gold support on Ethereum as optimal, according to his remarks on Tether Gold. These statements reflect his continued focus on expanding Tether’s product offerings.
