Chinese stocks tumble as oil jumps

Jordan Kerridge reports that $1.295 trillion has been wiped from Chinese stocks today as the SSE Composite Index fell 2%.

At the same time, oil prices have reached a 112-day high. Stocks are selling off while energy prices continue to rise, creating a challenging environment for global markets. Higher oil costs could add more inflationary pressure.

Earlier this week, Jordan Kerridge reported that $150 million in Bitcoin longs were liquidated as prices dropped below $77,000. He also noted the Federal Reserve's plans to purchase up to $2.12 billion in Treasury bills next week. These developments highlight recent volatility across digital assets and government debt markets.
