Circle boosts USDC with Binance deal

Jeremy Allaire, co-founder, chief executive officer (CEO), and chairman at Circle, announced a major expansion of Circle's partnership with Binance.

The new agreement includes a five-year deal to boost adoption of USDC across Binance's global platforms. Additionally, Binance has acquired a $100 million strategic stake in CRCL.

Allaire previously highlighted that over 1 percent of CRCL is held as tokenized stock, totaling more than $280 million, which leads all public companies according to recent disclosures. He has also cited economists at Jackson Hole who assessed the impact of tokenized money on the international monetary system, as reported in earlier comments. These developments demonstrate Allaire's ongoing engagement with both institutional and macroeconomic aspects of tokenization.
