Exchanges and some multi-coin wallets use static addresses, Stephan Livera notes
Most Bitcoin wallets use new addresses

Stephan Livera, head of education and podcast host at Swan Bitcoin, highlights that most Bitcoin wallets already generate new addresses for each transaction.

He points out that exceptions are typically found among exchanges or certain multi-coin wallets, which may use static addresses instead.

Livera previously examined the build of rbitcoin, a Rust-based Bitcoin full node created entirely by artificial intelligence. He has also discussed agent Bitcoin wallets using L402 and x402 standards and potential applications for decentralized technologies in his report on agent wallets and open weights. These discussions provide further insight into his focus on Bitcoin-related infrastructure and protocol development.
