Samsung adds USDC to U.S. Galaxy phones

Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founder and chief product officer at Mysten Labs, the company behind the Sui blockchain, announced that Samsung Wallet is integrating Sui to enable USDC on 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices.

Abiodun added that this marks only the beginning of the partnership, with further collaboration planned.

Abiodun has previously highlighted Sui’s focus on capital efficiency in global markets, citing developments such as DeepBook in a recent interview. He also indicated that SuiBasecamp day two would feature significant updates and major announcements following a strong opening day. These earlier milestones underscore Mysten Labs' ongoing efforts to expand Sui's reach and functionality.
