Access to the hardest asset in history could become easier for families, Fernando Nikolic notes
If Bitcoin is digital gold access grows

Fernando Nikolic, founder of Perception, suggested that if Bitcoin ends up functioning primarily as digital gold, it would provide people around the world with easy access to what he described as the hardest asset in history.

Nikolic added that such a scenario could empower families to save for the future and could encourage talent to remain in their home countries to build, calling this a massive generational and societal benefit.

Nikolic has previously argued that Bitcoin adoption faces hurdles due to complex regulations designed for a niche group, rather than issues with price or user experience, according to his analysis in a recent article. In a separate report, he contrasted enforcement measures in traditional finance, referencing American Express's $350 million fine for not reporting suspicious transactions with the legal risks faced by wallet developers. These assessments highlight his ongoing focus on regulatory and compliance challenges in the digital asset sector.
