Cloning popular APIs with Lightning Network payments could enable user choice, Alex Bosworth notes
Lightning Network-payable API project proposed

Alex Bosworth, Alex Bosworth, suggested the idea of a project that would clone popular backend APIs such as redis as a service and integrate Lightning Network payment support, end-to-end encryption, and open-source software features. Bosworth stated that this approach would let people who pay for such APIs have the option to switch providers, eliminating lock-in.

Bosworth has previously commented on security trends, noting that while BTC hacks may be getting easier, tracking stolen funds has also become more feasible as tracing tools improve. He also discussed efforts to make cold storage more accessible through a BTC project aimed at practical guidance for everyday users. These initiatives reflect his ongoing focus on user control and security in cryptocurrency infrastructure.
