Anna Wong: Credit spreads rise in line with Kim and Wright model estimates
Credit spreads rise as models predict

Credit spreads have increased in a manner consistent with predictions from Kim and Wright's model estimates, Anna Wong reported. According to Wong, about half of the recent 10-year U.S. Treasury yield increase was attributed to the term premium. She also noted that, from a broader perspective, the latest rise represents only a small part of the overall picture.

Wong has commented on other U.S. economic issues in recent months. She previously discussed how U.S. fiscal sustainability may depend on reducing obesity to lower Medicare and Medicaid costs. Wong also announced the upcoming launch of the Bloomberg Price Project, which is tracking increases in U.S. streaming prices.
