Europe’s GDP decline versus U.S. noted

Europe’s gross domestic product, once 90% the size of that of the U.S., has declined to 65% and is trending toward 50%.

Jon Najarian compared economic output per person, noting the U.S. level is now about 1.6 times higher than Canada, versus 1.4 times a decade ago. Najarian also said that nearly every country is falling behind the U.S.

Najarian has recently highlighted a drop in 10-year bond yields from 5.3% to 4.92%, attributing the move to bond vigilantes on one earlier occasion. He also noted an upcoming episode of Rebel’s Edge set to discuss VIX, CRWV, STT, BAC, and PGR in another update. These remarks follow his ongoing commentary on comparative economic performance and financial markets.
