Stephanie Link: AWS records sixth consecutive quarter of accelerating growth at 39 percent
Amazon AWS hits 39 percent growth

Amazon reported AWS growth of 39 percent, marking its sixth consecutive quarter of accelerating performance and the best result since the fourth quarter of 2021.

Stephanie Link, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Hightower Advisors, said backlog tripled, the guide for the next two years is 40 percent at 40 percent operating margin, retail demand remains strong despite a tough Prime Day comparison, and advertising delivered double-digit growth. She described the market's reaction to actual results as a bit extreme even if whispers were not met, and also highlighted a 15x EPS.
