ETN organic sales jump with margin gains

ETN, a major industrial company, reported organic sales growth of 19%, with the Electrical Global segment up 27% and Electrical Americas core sales increasing 22%. Backlog reached $16 billion, orders grew 39%, and margins improved by 230 basis points.

Stephanie Link, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Hightower Advisors, highlighted these results and described ETN as another strong industrial benefiting from the AI "food chain."

Link previously highlighted a 7% weekly decline in the XLK technology sector while energy and consumer staples posted gains, with financials starting to recover here. She has also noted SpaceX’s acquisition of 800 MHz spectrum for Starlink Mobile, preparing for new carrier services alongside established telecom companies here. These updates reflect Link’s ongoing coverage of major shifts across technology, energy, and industrial sectors.
