Tesla stock eyes $320 after defending key support
Tesla's corporate news flow remained relatively quiet at the end of July, leaving macroeconomic developments and technical factors as the primary drivers of the stock.
The Federal Reserve's decision to leave interest rates unchanged, combined with mixed comments from Kevin Warsh, increased market volatility. Against this backdrop, selling pressure on Tesla intensified, briefly pushing the shares below the psychological $300 level. The post-meeting uncertainty was also fueled by the lack of clear guidance on the future path of monetary policy.
At the same time, the negative reaction to Tesla's quarterly earnings continues to fade. Traders are increasingly focusing on the stock's oversold technical conditions, which are creating the foundation for a short-term rebound.

Break above $314 could open the way to $320
The $300 level has been tested once again, but sellers failed to establish a sustained move below it. As anticipated in the previous analysis, the stock rebounded toward the first resistance level around $314, where Tesla shares are currently trading in premarket. If the regular trading session opens above $314, the probability of an advance toward the next resistance level at $320 will increase significantly.
An additional factor supporting the rebound is the RSI (14), which has remained in oversold territory since July 23.
Fed volatility delays Tesla rebound
The Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates unchanged increased short-term market volatility, delaying the expected technical rebound by one trading session. During the sell-off, Tesla briefly tested the $295–298 range, but the inability of sellers to secure a close below $300 confirmed that buying interest remains intact in that area.Over the coming days, Tesla's price action will largely depend on whether buyers can maintain the stock above the $314 level.
