Tesla holds key support as post-earnings gap comes into focus
Tesla has moved back above key support at $337 and continued to recover from its July sell-off. At the same time, developments around Cybercab and Tesla Semi continue to support the company’s longer-term technology story.
Investor’s Business Daily reported that Tesla is preparing to begin using Cybercab in Austin as early as August. Initially, rides in the fully autonomous two-seater, which has no steering wheel or pedals, will be available to Tesla employees before the company looks to add Cybercab to its existing robotaxi service.
New reports have also pointed to further preparations for Tesla Semi’s expansion into Europe. The company plans to provide additional details on its European strategy at IAA Transportation in September, following the start of mass production at its Nevada facility this spring.

Tesla approaches breakout level with $373 gap still in focus
Tesla stock moved back above the previously outlined support at $337 and climbed to $351.62. This level now becomes the key reference point for today’s trading session. If buyers can break above $351.62 and hold there, the main price target remains unchanged at $373. An unfilled gap from July 22 is located around this area.
Holding above $337 keeps the current recovery scenario intact. A break and sustained move below this key support would invalidate it.
Post-earnings recovery shows the cost of a weak report
Tesla’s recovery from the weak market reaction to its quarterly results is continuing. The stock has already returned to roughly April 2026 levels, although it took several weeks to recover much of the ground lost after earnings. This once again highlights how important quarterly results are for TSLA. Given the stock’s high valuation, even relatively small misses versus expectations for margins, deliveries or guidance can trigger a sharp repricing.
For now, the current advance is therefore best viewed as a recovery from the strong post-earnings decline rather than a new independent rally.
