The planned mission, titled 'We're Not Hawking Around,' is set for 2026 from launch complex LC-1. Bearish daily setup holds as sellers press the decline toward support

Rocket Lab stock opened with a gap down from the previous close of $53.67 to $51.65. The price is now trading below its MA-20, MA-50, and MA-200, which keeps the daily chart structure bearish. Sellers continue to control the trend, but with RSI at 30.1 nearing oversold territory, the decline is beginning to look stretched. The nearest support is the weekly low at $49.46.

Downside odds dominate as traders eye support near $49.46

To determine whether the market is embracing the latest development, traders should watch for a close above $54.78. The stock began the session sharply lower, opening at $51.65 compared to its prior close of $53.67. Although there has been a sustained move higher with a firm trend over the past week, the probabilities over the next five trading days now favor downside at more than 80%, with less than 20% chance to the upside, and an expected trading range of $48.84 to $53.59. A close above $54.78 would confirm renewed buying interest, while a drop below $49.46 would point to further rejection of the recent move. On the weekly chart the longer-term picture stays negative.

Earlier, analysts noted that Rocket Lab’s shares remained under broad technical pressure despite operational updates and persistent launch delays. The latest stock drop alongside continued bearish chart patterns confirms the prevailing downside scenario, with traders advised to monitor $49.46 as the next key support level.
