Henri Arslanian is Managing Partner at Nine Blocks Capital Management, one of the largest institutional-grade crypto hedge funds licensed under Dubai’s Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority. Previously Global Crypto Leader at PwC, Arslanian co-founded ACX International, a compliance and regulatory services firm employing more than 250 staff. He has authored three books on crypto and finance, including The Book of Crypto (2022) and Decoding Crypto with Henri & Hodler (2024), and his publications have been translated into five languages. Arslanian is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hong Kong, where he has taught fintech and crypto courses since 2015, reaching more than 1,500 students. His weekly Crypto Capsule newsletter on LinkedIn is followed by over 500,000 readers, while his television program Crypto Weekly on CNBC Arabia reaches 60 million households.

In January 2025, Arslanian highlighted global crypto market capitalization at $3.5 trillion, with Bitcoin at $2 trillion and stablecoins exceeding $200 billion. His commentary that more than half of crypto hedge funds lost bank accounts compared to fewer than 5 percent of traditional hedge funds illustrates systemic risks still facing the sector. With visibility across policy, media, and asset management, Arslanian is regarded as one of the most influential institutional voices in digital assets.
