Business, Art, and Philanthropy from Ronald Lauder
Ronald Lauder, heir to the Estée Lauder fortune, continues to wield influence across global business and philanthropic circles. In 2025, Lauder's personal wealth is estimated at $8.4 billion, much of it derived from his significant stake in The Estée Lauder Companies, which recorded revenues of $17.9 billion in the last fiscal year. Lauder also chairs Clinique Laboratories and has long served on the board of the World Jewish Congress, where he’s led diplomatic outreach in Europe and the Middle East.
Beyond cosmetics, Lauder is a prolific art collector with a private collection valued at over $1 billion, including rare works from Klimt, Picasso, and medieval armor. He’s donated more than $500 million to Jewish education, Holocaust memorial projects, and New York cultural institutions. In 2024, Lauder launched a $150 million initiative to combat global antisemitism and promote historical education across 15 countries.
