Technology, Science, and Payments Infrastructure by Patrick Collison
Patrick Collison is the Co-Founder and CEO of Stripe, one of the most influential financial technology firms of the 21st century. With a background in applied mathematics and software development, he has led Stripe through rapid growth, reaching $14 billion in annual revenue by 2024. He has received global recognition, including honors from the World Economic Forum and Time 100 Innovators list.
Since 2022, Patrick has overseen Stripe’s expansion into digital asset infrastructure, including USDC integration and support for crypto wallets. In April 2025, he and his brother John co-authored Stripe’s annual letter outlining the company’s plans to build native blockchain verification across all payment layers.
