Gemini adds Zcash privacy option

Gemini has introduced support for shielded Zcash withdrawals to the Ironwood pool, according to Tyler Winklevoss. This update allows users of the Gemini platform to transfer Zcash directly to Ironwood deposit addresses on the Zodl app, enhancing privacy in cryptocurrency transactions. Winklevoss described privacy as ''normal'' and recognized Vincent Palmerio for leading the initiative, positioning this move as an advancement in digital asset privacy.

Winklevoss has previously commented on issues affecting New York’s digital asset scene. He called attention to gaps in public infrastructure and services despite the city’s high tax rates.
