Headway review: Fire Ride demo contest offers traders $2,125 prize pool
Headway has announced the launch of its Fire Ride demo trading contest, inviting participants to compete for a share of a $2,125 prize pool in a time-limited simulated trading environment. The competition is designed to combine market engagement with skill-based performance, offering traders an opportunity to test strategies without risking real capital.

The contest is scheduled to run from February 2 at 13:00 MT until February 16 at 13:00 MT. Participation is open to registered users who join the contest through their Personal Area, with mobile app users required to update to the latest version before enrolling.
Demo trading format and conditions
According to Headway, all participants will trade using identical conditions to ensure a level playing field. Each trader will be provided with a Standard MT5 demo account funded with a virtual balance of $10,000 and leverage set at 1:4724. During the competition period, participants can trade a range of instruments, including energy commodities, metals, major and minor Forex pairs, and Headway’s proprietary synthetic instrument, Flame.
Performance will be ranked on a leaderboard, with positions determined by trading results achieved over the contest period. At the end of the competition, the top ten traders will be awarded cash prizes drawn from the total prize pool.
Prize distribution and platform context
The prize structure allocates $1,000 to the first-place finisher, $500 for second place, and $200 for third. Additional prizes range from $100 for fourth place to $50 for positions six through ten. Headway has stated that winners will be notified following the conclusion of the trading stage.
Headway operates as an online trading platform offering access to Forex, commodities, indices, and synthetic instruments, with a focus on flexible trading conditions and educational engagement.
