Gate.io has announced the integration of the Polymarket prediction market into its app, enabling users to trade on real-world events directly within the platform. The feature is currently available in public beta for app version 8.12.5 and above.

Gate.io has officially integrated Polymarket’s prediction market into its app, making it the first centralized exchange to offer native prediction-market trading through its platform. The feature, currently in public beta for version 8.12.5 and above, provides users the ability to trade Yes/No shares on a variety of real-world events, including sports, finance, crypto, and politics.

The integration supports two participation methods: users can trade via their Gate exchange accounts using USDT without any on-chain transactions or connect Web3 wallets to participate with USDC on the Polygon network. The app offers two interface modes—Prediction mode for simplicity and Trading mode with advanced tools such as order books and charts. Additional features include real-time pricing, asset management tools, and unified balance tracking. Promotional activities and further expansion of event categories are also planned.

How to participate

To take part in current Gate.io promotions related to the Polymarket integration, users should update to Gate App version 8.12.5 or higher and log in using either their exchange account (for USDT) or a connected Web3 wallet (for USDC). For campaign activities such as the Trending Event Proposal Incentive, users can submit proposals for trending event topics during the designated promotional period to be eligible for a share of the prize pool.
