Gate.io announced the integration of Polymarket, allowing users to trade prediction market shares on real-world events such as major sports tournaments through its mobile app, now in public beta. The feature offers participation via either a Spot account with USDT or a connected Web3 wallet with USDC, and includes launch incentives for early users.

Gate.io has integrated Polymarket into its mobile app (version 8.12.5 or later), allowing users to trade prediction market shares on real-world events. This includes major sports tournaments such as the French Open, F1 Grand Prix, NBA Finals, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The new feature is available in public beta on the "Alpha" page and supports two forms of participation: users can trade using USDT from their Gate.io Spot accounts or connect a Web3 wallet to use USDC on Polygon. The integration offers both a simplified Prediction mode and an advanced Trading mode, with launch incentives such as a prize pool for event proposals and loss protection for first-time trades.

How to participate

To join Gate.io's Polymarket integration promotions, update the Gate.io app to version 8.12.5 or later and access the 'Polymarket' module via the Alpha page. Choose your participation method: use USDT in your Spot account or connect a Web3 wallet with USDC on Polygon. Select an event and participate using Prediction or Trading mode. For promotional offers, users can propose trending events to share a prize pool and may receive loss protection on their first prediction trade.
