Deribit unveils USDC-settled HYPE derivatives, including new perpetual and options contracts
Deribit has launched USDC-settled derivatives for HYPE, the native token of Hyperliquid, introducing perpetual contracts with options and dated futures to follow, all featuring multiple expiry cycles.

Deribit has introduced USDC-settled derivatives for HYPE, the native token of Hyperliquid. The rollout consists of perpetual contracts launched on 16 June 2026, with options and dated futures scheduled to be available from 23 June 2026. Options and futures will feature multiple expiry cycles: two daily, two weekly, one monthly, and one quarterly.
Product specifications include contract multipliers of 10 HYPE per options contract and 1 HYPE per unit for perpetuals and futures, with minimum order and tick sizes outlined in the release. These derivatives allow traders to speculate on HYPE or hedge their holdings. Access is not available to users in the United States or other restricted jurisdictions.
Deribit is a cryptocurrency exchange established in 2016, specializing in futures and options trading for assets such as BTC, ETH, USDC, SOL, XRP, LUNA, and AVAX. The platform provides access to leveraged trading (up to 50x), various order types including stop loss and take profit, and operates through the TradingView browser terminal as well as mobile apps.
