Bitget has introduced a third-generation Unified Trading Account, allowing users to hold, use as margin, or pledge rTokens—tokenized U.S. stock assets—as collateral within a single unified margin system.
On July 16, 2026, Bitget announced the launch of its third-generation Unified Trading Account (UTA), which integrates over 370 assets—including 100 U.S. stock tokens (rTokens)—into a single unified margin system. With this upgrade, users can hold rTokens for price exposure and dividends, use them directly as margin for trading activities, or pledge them as collateral to borrow stablecoins, all within the same account structure.
The announcement specifies that rTokens now fulfill three simultaneous roles, with collateralization rates reaching up to 95% and dynamic interest rates for borrowing. This account model aims to enhance capital efficiency and allow multiple uses for tokenized U.S. stock assets under a cross-asset unified margin framework, while also outlining associated risks such as increased leverage and potential liquidation.
