BitMart announced a series of security upgrades focused on multi-layered wallet architecture and enhanced account protections, including two-factor authentication, anti-phishing measures, withdrawal address whitelisting, and device management.
BitMart has published an update detailing a range of security enhancements aimed at protecting client assets. The company now uses a three-tier wallet system (cold, warm, and hot wallets) secured by Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), and Multi-Party Computation (MPC). Enhanced account protections include mandatory two-factor authentication, anti-phishing codes, withdrawal address whitelisting with additional checks for new addresses, and real-time monitoring for suspicious activity. According to BitMart, these measures were implemented in response to increased threats such as credential theft, phishing, and SIM swap attacks, and form part of a broader June 2026 security initiative.
