Binance has introduced European-style gold and silver options contracts settled in USDT, allowing users to trade commodity options directly on its platform without additional apps or wallets.
Binance has announced the launch of European-style options contracts for gold and silver, which are settled in USDT and can be traded directly on the Binance platform without requiring separate apps or wallets. These contracts permit retail users to buy, but not write, both call and put options, with writing reserved for designated market makers; maximum loss for buyers is limited to the premium paid. The options are issued through Binance’s regulated entity under the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) framework and feature launch incentives including 0% maker fees and a 0.02% taker fee. This development further expands Binance’s regulated traditional finance (TradFi) derivatives offerings alongside its existing crypto and commodity-related products.
