Deribit has formally announced the integration of Coinbase International Exchange into a unified derivatives trading platform, centralizing global liquidity and infrastructure under Deribit. According to published details, this process involves the migration of accounts, positions, and balances—with key operational dates set for August and September 2026—updating user access to new products such as crypto options and additional perpetual contracts, and introducing changes to APIs, user interfaces, and the platform’s margin model. The transition will also implement a new matching engine and enhanced risk management measures while modifying funding and settlement mechanics for users.

Deribit is a cryptocurrency exchange launched in 2016, offering futures and options trading primarily on assets such as BTC, ETH, USDC, SOL, XRP, LUNA, and AVAX. The platform provides access to leveraged trading up to 50x, multiple order types including stop loss and take profit, and operates using the TradingView browser terminal as well as mobile apps for iOS and Android.
