KuCoin announced an upgrade to its Institutional Lending Program, integrating it with its Unified Trading Account to streamline access to liquidity and broaden eligibility requirements for institutional clients.
KuCoin has upgraded its Institutional Lending Program by integrating it with the Unified Trading Account (UTA). This allows institutional clients to deploy borrowed funds directly across Spot, Margin, and Futures markets within a single account, without the need for intra-account transfers. The update also includes a simplified eligibility threshold, an initial two-month interest-free borrowing period for amounts up to 3 million USDT, and additional asset options such as USDT, USDC, BTC, and ETH. Other features include collateral requirements for different loan sizes, trading volume-based interest rates after the initial period, and optional access to market maker rebates and higher API rate limits. Institutional clients seeking higher credit limits or customized arrangements may engage directly with KuCoin’s team.

Institutional clients interested in KuCoin’s upgraded Institutional Lending Program must meet the eligibility criteria, such as being a newly registered API client with at least 10 million USDT in 30-day trading volume on other exchanges, expanding to a new business line, or directly engaging with the KuCoin Institutional Team. After verifying eligibility, register and activate a Unified Trading Account (UTA) with Institutional Lending on KuCoin, provide collateral, and access up to 3 million USDT equivalent borrowing with a 0% interest period for the first two months. Participants can also benefit from market maker fee trials, higher API rate limits, and personalized onboarding. To get started, users can register via the official sign-up link.
