Coinbase has merged its International Exchange with Deribit, finalizing the integration on October 1, 2026. This consolidation creates a single trading venue where users can access perpetual contracts, dated futures, spot trading, and, for the first time, options products. According to the announcement, the unified platform now allows eligible users—including those in the U.S.—to trade both linear and inverse crypto options, and provides broader product access, deeper liquidity, upgraded trading infrastructure based on Deribit’s matching engine, and expanded risk management features. Institutional accounts have been migrated to the combined venue, and Deribit users can trade over 100 additional perpetual contracts and access Coinbase spot markets, while operational access to existing products for Coinbase users remains unchanged.
