zForex reduces ECN metals commissions and lowers spreads
zForex has reduced precious metals trading commissions on its ECN Trading Account from $15 to $10 per lot, cutting the cost by one-third. The broker has also reduced spreads across all instruments available on the account by 25% to 33%.
- Chosen by 2 400+ local traders in the last 3 months.
- Traders earn on average 12% more per month vs other brokers.
The revised metals commission amounts to $5 per side, bringing the total commission for opening and closing a one-lot position to $10. Compared with the previous rate, traders now save $5 in commissions on each completed one-lot metals trade.
The spread reductions further lower transaction costs on the ECN Trading Account. Actual spreads vary by instrument and market conditions, with spreads available from 0 pips. Together, the changes reduce both the commission paid on metals trades and the spread costs traders encounter across the account’s available instruments.
The ECN Trading Account is one of three account types offered by zForex, alongside the Standard Trading Account and Swap Free Trading Account. It combines variable spreads with a separate commission structure, allowing traders to assess these two components of their trading costs.
With a minimum deposit of $10 and a minimum trade size of 0.01 lot, the ECN account accommodates a range of position sizes. Forex commissions remain at $3.50 per side, while the revised metals rate is $5 per side.
The pricing update forms part of zForex’s efforts to offer more competitive trading conditions. By reducing metals commissions and narrowing spreads, the broker aims to give ECN clients lower transaction costs when placing and closing trades.
