Highlights

  • ZS/USX maintains a short and medium-term bullish structure by trading above key moving averages.
  • Momentum and oscillator indicators show mixed signals, with some overbought conditions and weak trend strength.
  • Price is expected to remain in a $1,174 to $1,191 range over the next two to three days, with equally balanced upside and downside probabilities.

Mixed momentum signals as key supports limit downside

ZS/USX continues to trade above the MA-20 and MA-50 on the H1 chart, with respective support levels at USX1,179 and USX1,178, and stays above the MA-200 at USX1,148 on the daily timeframe. The Ichimoku Kijun at USX1,170 serves as immediate support for the contract. On the indicator front, MACD currently points to a buy bias, while ADX is neutral, reflecting limited trend strength. RSI reads 51.8, still in buy territory, but Stochastic RSI is overbought, CCI is neutral, and Bull/Bear Power indicates overbought conditions, highlighting buyer dominance intraday, though Awesome Oscillator is neutral, meaning momentum confirmation is lacking.

Range-bound outlook as breakout triggers remain balanced

Over the coming 2 to 3 trading days, ZS/USX is expected to remain within a volatility band between USX1,174 and USX1,191, with an equal probability of moving higher or lower at 50% each. The baseline scenario sees the contract consolidating within this corridor. If the price breaks above USX1,191, a further round of buying could be triggered. Conversely, a move below USX1,174 would open the way for additional pullback pressure.

Anton Kharitonov, expert at Traders Union, sees Soybean Futures holding key technical levels but lacking strong directional signals. He notes indicator conflict and overbought conditions intraday, while price action remains range-bound. Kharitonov believes a clear trend will only emerge if USX1,191 or USX1,174 are decisively breached. "Until a breakout from this band occurs, I remain cautious and prefer to wait on the sidelines for confirmation," he says.

Previously it was reported that Soybean Futures were navigating a stable technical range with a cautious bias toward downside risk, as indicators sent mixed signals. The current technical setup continues to show consolidation, but traders should closely monitor a potential breakout above USX1,191 or a breakdown below USX1,174 for the next directional move.
