Highlights

  • ZS/USX trades below key short-, medium-, and long-term moving averages, indicating bearish momentum prevails.
  • Momentum and oscillator indicators mostly point to continued downside pressure with only minor short-term upside exhaustion risks.
  • Forecast range for the next two to three days is USX1,176 to USX1,198, with a high likelihood of further declines unless resistance at USX1,198 is breached.

Bearish momentum intensifies as resistance caps intraday rebound

On the H1 chart, ZS/USX remains below the MA-20 at USX1,193, MA-50 at USX1,199, and the long-term MA-200 at USX1,211. The Ichimoku Kijun currently marks resistance at USX1,198. MACD is in a strong sell condition, while ADX signals sell. Both RSI and CCI are neutral, but Stochastic RSI is signaling overbought conditions, hinting at potential short-term exhaustion. Bull/Bear Power remains negative, suggesting persistent seller control in intraday trading. The Awesome Oscillator (AO) is neutral and does not reinforce the prevailing trend. Price is near today's low with subdued volatility.

Downside bias dominates outlook as consolidation narrows range

Over the next two to three trading days, ZS/USX is likely to consolidate within the USX1,176 to USX1,198 range, reflecting typical volatility. There is a very high likelihood of a downside move and a very low probability of an upward reversal. A break above USX1,198 would be required to trigger a short-term bullish scenario, while a drop below USX1,176 could open the way for further declines.

Viktoras Karapetjanc, expert at Traders Union, sees Soybean Futures consolidating below key technical barriers amid ongoing seller dominance. He notes that price action shows short-term fatigue, but a broader reversal remains unlikely without catalyst support. Karapetjanc maintains a constructive outlook and is attentive to upside potential if USX1,198 is breached. 'Should the price break above USX1,198, I would expect buyers to regain control and start a new upward leg.'

Earlier, analysts noted that Soybean Futures were under sustained technical pressure within a well-defined trading range. The current technical picture reinforces this view, with ongoing weakness below major moving averages and the key level at USX1,198 remaining pivotal for any shift toward a bullish scenario.
