Biomea Fusion has detailed its expected milestones for the Icovamenib drug programs in 2026. The company is planning to deliver 52-week follow-up data from its COVALENT-112 study in the second quarter of 2026.
Additionally, Biomea Fusion aims to present Phase II clinical data for both the COVALENT-211 and COVALENT-212 studies in the fourth quarter of the same year. These milestones mark the next crucial steps as the company advances its targeted oncology pipeline.
Biomea Fusion has previously pursued icovamenib as a novel therapy targeting beta cell restoration in diabetes, according to Dr. Alice Cheng’s assessment in an earlier company update. The company also scheduled an oral presentation on icovamenib’s clinical data at ATTD 2006, with a focus on diabetes innovation earlier this year. These developments set the stage for Biomea Fusion’s next phase of clinical milestones.
