Advanced cybersecurity workflows unlocked in top Trusted Access tiers for OpenAI clients
OpenAI is expanding its Trusted Access for Cyber initiative by introducing additional service tiers targeted at authenticated cybersecurity defenders.
Customers who qualify for the highest tiers will now be able to request access to GPT-5.4-Cyber, a specialized version of GPT-5.4 fine-tuned for cybersecurity applications. This upgrade aims to support more advanced defensive workflows and grant leading organizations enhanced AI-driven cyber defenses. The move underscores OpenAI’s focus on tailoring its AI products to sector-specific security needs.
Earlier, OpenAI released GPT-5.4 mini, doubling speed in ChatGPT, Codex, and the API with new coding and multimodal capabilities. These initiatives frame OpenAI’s targeted rollout of security-focused AI enhancements.
